I find that when writing out a rough draft I tend to overuse commas like crazy. I erase multiple of them in almost every blog post! They sound good at the time, but then I go back and re-read and end up having no idea why I put them in so many places!

Haha, you’re not alone! I don’t ever remember being TAUGHT how to use a comma, and with so many uses/ conflicting information, it’s easy to just put them where they feel “right”.

The BBC link was so incredibly interesting to go through. I definitely notice things have changed from when I was kid (I also can’t believe I’m now saying “when I was a kid”), but this made me especially realize how much the world has changed. All I can say is wow!

It’s cool to see all the things that you otherwise don’t really notice! (And yeah, saying “when I was a kid” is its own way things have changed, haha)

      Why thank you!

Kudos to the Red Hot Chili Peppers for scoring one of the highest reading levels in that study! That BBC link is probably the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time. I’m honestly in awe. Thank you for sharing such great links, as always! :)

Holy crap, we’re pathetic when it comes to what we mass consume. The lyrics link was crazy scary, but makes perfect sense.
