Reading is one of my passions, and it’s one that I love sharing with others. Once I’ve read a book that I’ve fallen head over heels for, it’s hard to get me to shut up about it! I started recording Booktube reviews and cataloging the books I’d read on Goodreads so that I could share my recommendations (good and bad!) with you all.
Being a teacher, I have a habit of “grading” the books that I read. Strangely enough, the criteria that I use to grade papers is often similar to what I look for in a novel (though it’s not quite the same with non-fiction and every genre): plot, character, organization, and style. Is it an interesting premise? A fun story? Are the characters captivating? Does the dialogue make me cringe? I’m stingy with my handing out of ‘A’s, but my breakdown will hopefully give you a better idea of what to expect from the book.
I don’t review every book I read, but those that I do can typically be found on my Youtube channel.
